Think it was a 12.3 or something. Think it was Craig from ACE that recorded that.
I recall the car having swaped out suspention optimised for drag racing purposes, light weight rims with slicks and front runners, 3500 high stall, 4.11 diff gear, race underdrives, exhaust ect and a good tune. Car was making around 235rwkw. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I thought Craigs 3V was a manual? Or did he have a couple?

Could have been PTM.
Im just remembering what I read a long time ago. Think it was a goldy coloured car. I know that it was an auto that did a stout time. As he mentioned that to get those times you needed the mods that I listed above and I took note of what he had done. Again I could very well be wrong. And yes I think his blue 3v was the fastest N/A manual 3v I think.

Craig (rip) had all 3v records bar forced induction records, probably only because he didn't try them.
AND they are years old too, those records. Craig, I still miss you mate and it kills me everytime I think about it. The world is a much duller place without you. Took me 3 years to get back into the seat, and its just not the same. God bless mate. We'll meet again one day. Sorry for off topic.

ghiadup & myself are running Bluepower CAI - awesome CAI, straight up knock 4/10ths off my Force 8. ghiadup is only just getting his Ghia up to speed, so a bit behind times, thread created to see if on target, by the sounds of it getting there |

Thanks XR6, goo info. any idea where I find the mods / etc to the taxi??
For everyones info, I am ghiadups Dad, I actually started the thread, didn't realise James had signed in on my laptop until after I posted. Also the BA F/mont 3v is my old car, I am loving watching my son get it going. Hi stall went in yesterday, but dropped a spark plug or coilover on number 5, so can't get the updated tune. Any 3v people interested in specs / mods let me know, happy to share. cheers |

no build thread sorry mate, just bits & pieces here and there, pics in the show & shine and some in the Boss powered section (when cams fitted).
new set of plugs in last night, without breaking any!! so back to tuner tonite for tweak Friday, torque settings not quite right yet, but could hear the difference already, haven't been in the car yet? Maybe after Wednesday 21 /09/11 nites run I can convince ghiadup to put up a build thread. |

like my old man said its getting tuned on friday maybe ready for drags wenesday if i can find some semi slicks bit short on the coin atm so might have to wait abit or even just take it down on streeters and see how we go i might have to put a build thread up after get in back on friday James |

Good to see someone catch up. I got bored with it and turboed it.
That was many years ago. On to bigger and faster things now. Have fun with it, they can go real well when pushed.
