hi

upgrade to color screen only $1100.00 as a changeover using new Genuine Ford parts.

the aux is the only way to run ipod, we have the boosted ones $130.00 or non boosted $30.00.

We can modify the back of the ICC cd module to have rca's where it allows you to add and run extra speakers amps subs etc...
$220.00

th LC6i is just converters, might get engine noise static etc... unlike the RCA mode we do where no engine noise guaranteed.

cheers

How much would i be looking at to go from the Premium BA Fairmont Ghia to add Sat Nav to it? Or is that a big change?

Also, just something you might be able to help me with, my reversing sensors don't seem to be beeping. Is there a way you turn them on and off?

hi

been a fairmont ghia you already have the color screen. a nav system will be $1195.00 on the factory color screen with an external speaker or $1495.00 all intergraded with the factory screen and speakers.

regarding the reverse sensors they are definitly faulty, unless you had a changeover at some stage and the wrong ICC been fitted. check with your local dealer.

cheers

Thanks, I will keep that in mind.

In regards to the rear sensor, turns out the connector under the towbar wasn't closed properly, therefore it thought it had a trailer connected. All working now

How much and how tricky is it to change my standard BA XR6 ICC (With Premium sounds and Sat Nav) to the Dual Zone unit fitted to the luxury cars?

I can buy the unit for 700 but if the dual zone and other features won't work, I won't bother.

the dual climate ICC will not simply work, more parts needed eg sensors etc...

Fadi

I have just got my hands on a premium icc unit and would like to do the following.

Modigy the back of the ICC cd module to have rca's where it allows you to add and run extra speakers amps subs etc...
$220.00

How do i go about making this happen? Can i bring the unit to your shop and you perform the job while i wait or do you need it for a couple days? Let me know the best way / options of going about it.

Cheers

hey fadi75, i want to upgrade from the standard lcd small screen in my xr6 to a large colour screen. however there are a few questions i have.
-with the exchange, can i confirm that you send the unit out, and once i have installed it, i return my old unit to you?
-i wish to connect a ps2 to the screen, how would i go about this?
- what screen is displayed when driving (hand brake down) and does it automatic change once the ps2 is turned on and handbrake up? or is it like an aux switch?

cheers, Henry

Hi Henry,
With the exchange system you will receive the new unit with a return Australian Air Express satchel so that you can return the old unit to us. If you want to connect a PS2 to the screen you will require one of our RGB converter kits that accepts any input (PAL/NTSC) and converts it to the RGB signal required to run on the factory TFT. We can supply this for $560 it includes the converter box, aux audio loom and suppressor, all required cables and fittment instructions. It is pretty much a plug and play operation. We can also supply an invertor to power the PS2 for $120.
When the handbrake is down the standard ICC screen is displayed. The display is triggered by a toggle switch mounted in the customers choice of position. When the switch is toggled and the handbrake is on PS2 will be displayed on screen.

cheers

hi

we can modify your cd module to have rca's out where it allows you to run an amp/ sub woofer, in this case you need to send us your cd module to be modified. $220.00 plus freight back to you.

cheers

Hi, I have a few questions regarding upgrading a BF MK11 Fairmont Ghia to integrated Sat Nav.

Does it have any computers or modules showing, or are they discretely hidden? Also how does it affect normal ICC use, for example the heating/cooling and audio display? Does this run Ford's normal maps software or others, are updates to the maps possible?

Also where are you located?

Thanks

hi

its all hidden and nothing showing. all will remain the same as ordered from factory. you will retain all you factory settings and functions. the nav used SD card and can be upfdated just by simply obtaining the new SD cards when available.

we are located in 13 Commmercial Dve, Lynbrook Vic 3975. ph 0397991444
