Under administration, so will continue with a regulator but not good at all…

Using Google translate:

dpa/AUTO BILD/KI) The car seat manufacturer Recaro, based in Kirchheim unter Teck, has filed
for bankruptcy. The Esslingen District Court ordered provisional self-administration on Monday
and appointed Stuttgart lawyer Holger Blümle as provisional administrator. Blümle is to examine
the economic situation of Recaro Automotive GmbH and monitor the management.

The IG Metall union expressed surprise at the insolvency application. The impact on the 215 employees
at Recaro Automotive GmbH is currently unclear. For years, the employees have contributed to the
economic stabilization of the company by waiving and postponing wages.

The head of the works council, Frank Bokowits, expressed disappointment with the management's actions.
IG Metall is calling for a transparent dialogue between management, the trustee and the employees.
Alessandro Lieb, the head of IG Metall in Esslingen, stressed the need to examine all options to secure
jobs and find a sustainable solution. A meeting with the workforce representatives is planned to discuss
the next steps.

Hopefully they pull through this, best car seats on the market by FAR.

If they had Recaro seats in trucks no one would be demanding their shitful air seats they have, every truck I've been in has a park bench or a park bench on air for seats

The article says that they began business in 1906. I don't believe that either VW or Porsche actually existed back then.

A typo perhaps, maybe they meant 1960.

Recaro started in 1906 as a coach builder called Reuterr Carosserie, later providing car bodies for Porsche and Volkswagen. In 1963, it focussed to making car seats and changed its name to Recaro, and has established the brand as the best car seat manufacturer with the Recaro name and as an OEM supplier to sports and luxury cars, both unlabelled and named as Recaro.

Even sadder BBS one of the best looking and tuff staggered mesh wheel sets in the game.

They’re not phoenixing to Switzerland like Theodor Nagel? (Totally different business but mentioned for example.)
